I grew up just outside Philadelphia my whole life. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior of my life on October 18,1992. My wife (Mandy) and I were married in May 2005. We have two sons Gabe born in April 2009 and Nate born in April 2013. We moved from the Philadelphia area to Jersey City, NJ in April 2011. I hold a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary (2007). Since then I have sensed God calling me to full-time ministry.
My connection to ISI: I began as a volunteer with ISI in September 2011 at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Over Christmas 2011 I felt God nudging me to increase my involvement with ISI as a volunteer from once a month to once a week. Then I began praying and seeking counsel about full-time staff with ISI. I began the application process for full-time staff with ISI. I officially became full-time staff with ISI in May 2012. This May will be 5 years as staff with ISI. I am humbled and amazed and overjoyed that He has called me to work with international students with the ISI ministry. In July 2016, I transitioned back to Philadelphia and am now ministering to international students at Temple University. I am thrilled about this new opportunity and to be back home again. There are 4,000 international students at Temple U. which is a great blessing and a great challenge.
A verse that rings true in my life and one I hold onto and recall frequently in my life is: "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5)."
